The citadel in Stari Bar is an important part of the Old Bar fortress and was built in the 17th century during the Venetian rule. It served as a last refuge in times of threat and today offers visitors well-preserved walls, towers and historic buildings to explore. From the citadel you can also enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and the Adriatic Sea.
