Basilica of the Virgin of Miracles

The Basilica of the Virgin of Miracles (Basilica de la Virgen de los Milagros) is located in Caacupé, Paraguay, and is one of the country’s most important religious shrines. The basilica is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is an important place of pilgrimage for believers. Built in the neo-Gothic style, it features impressive architecture with towers and colorful windows. Every year on December 8, the feast day of the Virgin of Miracles, thousands of pilgrims flock to the basilica to show their devotion and take part in religious celebrations.
