The Würzburg Residence is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered to be the most uniform and extraordinary of all baroque castles of its kind. Completed in 1781, it is one of the most important baroque palace complexes in Europe today. The Würzburg Residence also became famous for the movie “The Three Musketeers” with Orlando Bloom, Christoph Waltz and Milla Jovovich, for which it was used as a location.
